DHSUD Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar inspects construction site of SHFC’s PPA Port Town Project

On March 8, DHSUD Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar and SHFC President & CEO Federico Laxa inspected the construction site of PPA Port Town in North Harbor, Tondo, Manila. Also in attendance was SHFC Vice President on Resettlement Services, Bob Flores, whose group is tasked with supervising the development, along with SHFC’s engineering consultant.

The project, part of the agency’s contribution to President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.’s Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Housing (4PH) Program, represents the pilot phase for a master-planned 25-hectare coastal mixed-use vertical housing development in the area.

PPA Port Town aims to provide decent and resilient housing to over 3,300 families, including informal settler families (ISFs) residing in the Port Area and nearby areas along the stretch of the Pasig River.
